# Video Walkthrough Script

## 1. Introduction (0:00-0:45)

Hello, I am Sabion P. Frazier. This walkthrough covers GPU Benchmark Lab, a public case study on engineering an enterprise GPU benchmarking and validation environment. The goal is to show Linux GPU infrastructure validation, CUDA and NCCL methodology, evidence discipline, and executive reporting without exposing proprietary GPUValidator implementation.

## 2. Project Overview (0:45-1:45)

Explain the problem: enterprise AI infrastructure teams need more than device visibility. They need evidence that hardware, runtime, benchmarks, and documentation are ready for review.

Cover the one-sentence story: build the lab, run bounded validation, preserve evidence, interpret results, produce reports, and protect IP.

## 3. Environment (1:45-2:30)

Describe the public scope: RunPod, single node, four-GPU A100 SXM class environment, Linux host workflow, CUDA/NCCL runtime evidence, NCCL Tests focus.

Do not show provider consoles, tokens, hostnames, or private URLs.

## 4. Hardware (2:30-3:15)

Discuss the hardware evidence from the sanitized fixture: GPU count, model string, driver version. Explain why inventory, runtime, and topology matter.

## 5. RunPod (3:15-4:00)

Explain why cloud GPU capacity is useful for portfolio and validation work: fast access, controlled scope, reproducible lab notes, and explicit operational guardrails.

## 6. CUDA (4:00-4:45)

Explain that CUDA compatibility is central to GPU workloads and benchmark tooling. Point out that this repo only claims CUDA 12.8 where it appears in the fixture.

## 7. NCCL (4:45-6:00)

Explain NCCL collectives and why they matter. Use AllReduce as the concrete example: every GPU rank contributes and receives the reduced result, which maps to gradient synchronization.

## 8. Benchmarks (6:00-7:15)

Walk through the command shape, message-size range, warmup iterations, measured iterations, GPU count, and correctness column. Emphasize that other collectives are methodology-only until approved raw output exists.
